From the mouth on the Throne...

So I am supposed to fill this page with a bio and stuff huh? Ok, you asked for it.

I was born in Phoenix Arizona and I have been playing Drums for 22 years. I had played different instruments as a kid growing up, Flute, Alto and Tenor Saxaphone, Cello and finally Bass but when Van Halen's '1984' came out I got hooked on the Drums and never looked back. Of all the instruments I had played, the Drumkit was the only one my teachers never told me I was playing too hard. :-)

Some of my major influences on the drumkit include Alex Van Halen, Bill Ward, John Bonham, Scott Rockenfield, Will Calhoun, Neil Peart and Jerry Gaskill. With that said though I also listen to all kinds of other stuff too. I used to listen to NWA and Easy-E way back and I would take all the beats and put them on the drumkit and come up with some cool stuff. Now I listen to a lot of electronica, down tempo and translate really cool electronic drumbeats to the drumit. I have also in the last few years gotten into old school Funk and R-n-B which has really affected my playing.

Of all the Bands I have ever been in, Curium is the only one that has made me a better drummer. I push myself, constantly and consistantly in order to keep up with the other guys. I look forward to it and the music benefits from it too.
